When testing various electric logs collect statistical data: the acceleration time and the acceleration of the Tesla Model S (P85+). In this topic we present some publicly available data.

Testing in AMS - Tesla Model S:
    0-100 km/h in 4.7 sec
    0-130 km/h 7,0 sec
    0-160 km/h of 10.4 seconds
    0-200 km/h and 19.0 sec

Test from ADAC (General German automobile club):
    0-100 km/h in 4.4 sec
    60 - 100 km/h in 2.1 seconds

Results auto journal, Quattroruote:
    Mass (kg) 2217
    Mode 0-130 km/h 9350 rpm (engine speed)
    Speed (km/h) 215,9 (max speed)
    Acceleration 0-100 km/h in 4.7 sec
    The elasticity of 70-90 km/h and 1.4 h
The elasticity of 70-120 km/h in 3.5 seconds
The elasticity of 30-60 km/h in 1.8 sec III
    Drag coefficient Cw=0.27
    The frontal resistance of 2.42.

Acceleration to 100 km/h is impressive, but it seems to me that electric cars from Tesla was not created in order to set new records at the Nurburgring. According to the test result there is only one question: why do the results differ by as much as 0.3 seconds?

The difference is quite clear and within the margin of error. Nobody will be able to create a completely perfect test conditions, and their Oh so many – the wind resistance, the nature of the coating. Even a simple change in atmospheric pressure can "add" a few hundredths to a final figure.

0.3 s the difference, really, neumesten to test the car, not intended for Formula 1, and just to move around cities and trails. Electric car, of course, easier to standardize. But a lot depends on the drivers. If the electric vehicle in addition to the Tesla nameplate will state the number of region 01, 05, 07 or 09, and 4.4 C to сот4и not the limit. Caucasian with traffic lights will then be broken. High-tech, coupled with temperament, may be undocumented features of the Tesla Model S.

Whatever you say, but the indicators are quite identical to the cost of the car. As for the difference in the results, this is true for standard cars. 0.3 seconds – this is normal. Agree that the car was not created for speed records. Touches people in that car are quite different things.

A function of lowering already laid elaborate designers. Clearance can be done from 18,54 of 13.23 to see the Most interesting that the system is pneumatic, although I was expecting that will make her electric. Of course, the minimum value of 13.23) at the beginning of the drive will be automatically adjusted to the normal - 15,24 cm
